Therapy To Go PLLC

Do you need a Physical Therapist?

Therapy To Go PLLC provides physical therapy at your home.

Mobile outpatient physical therapy is a Medicare covered service. It offers flexibility and a more personalized approach to treatment creating a higher level of care. Mobile therapy does NOT require a home health diagnosis or home bound status.

Our Services

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is an advanced manual therapy treatment. The therapist uses their hands to release fascia. Fascia is a connective tissue that covers and supports structures inside the body. Myofascial release improves symmetry of the body, joint mobility, and reduces pain. It is an excellent choice for the treatment of neck and back pain, headaches, jaw, kyphosis “hunchback”, and sore shoulders. Dr. Collins is highly sought after for myofascial treatment sessions.

Balance & Fall Prevention

1 in 4 of adults age 65 and over will fall this year. Falls are a leading cause of injury and death in the elderly. Our balance training programs, neuro re-education training, and home safety assessments will keep you out of these statistics.

Therapeutic Exercise

Physical therapy exercise is different than exercising on your own. The physical therapist’s advanced knowledge and training on human anatomy, joint structure, soft tissue of tendons, ligaments, and fascia are unparalleled. Exercises are chosen to isolate muscle groups and expedite your healing and recovery.

Gait Training

Do you have trouble walking? Gait training restores independence and improves the ability to walk safely. We provide recommendations on aides such as canes, walkers, and crutches.

Neurological Re-Education

This service includes techniques to restore function of nerves and muscles for movement, coordination, and sensory components. It is used to promote joint stability after surgery, and for neurological conditions such as a stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Caregiver Training

Are you taking care of a loved one at home? Our caregiver training program offers training on transfers, mobility, safety practices, communication, how to do joint range of motion (ROM), and positioning to reduce health complications.

Home Safety Assessments

A Home Safety Assessment is an opportunity for recommendations that reduce risks of falling, increase independence, and make it easier to stay home. Adding night lights, hand rails, and ramps are common examples.

Equestrian Sport Training

Riders are athletes and our physical condition greatly impacts how we affect the horse, balance ourselves, and riding skill. Dr. Collins expertise is assessing and teaching riders how to improve their flexibility, postural control, and strength in the saddle. She has helped several riders achieve equitation world championships. Rider BootCamp sessions are available – visit the “Our Practice” tab for more information.
